My third year of teaching freshman English will be over after Friday. I am excited at the prospect of being able to stay home and take care of my children without having to prepare to teach and grade, butI am also saddened at the thought of not knowing when I will be teaching again (other than my own children).
Last night most of my students came over for a cookout. I had a wonderful time (and I hope they did as well. For the most part we all just sat around and talked, but before everyone left, we played a few rounds of Pit.
Here are a few pictures of my classes:
To any of my students over the past three years -- Thank you for being such wonderful classes. I can honestly say I have not regretted any semester of teaching here at NBBC. I will be praying for you as you leave for the summer and finish your college career.

I just hate that you're leaving, yet I know God has a perfect place for your sweet family. I will miss you, Tracy. I take for grantid that you'll be here forever. God is good all the time...I know He'll be leading you. He's the Good Shepherd and leads His flock. I trust that you hear news soon. I'll keep praying.
Are you guys moving away from Nbbc then? Are those girls wearing divided garments? Go nbbc!
On a more serious note, I know you'll miss your classroom days (I did and still do) but those memories are going to be very fond for you. I'm sure God will use your experiences again sometime in the future.
LOL Alicia, I was thinking the same thing about the divided garments (although not those exact words)! :D
Tracy--that is so awesome that you've been able to teach there; it sounds like it's been a great experience! I'll be praying for your family as you seek God's direction for your future!!
P.S. Tracy, is it OK if I add a link to your blog on mine? I keep meaning to ask and then keep forgetting . . . just let me know when you get a chance! :)
Yes, the girls are wearing divided garments. They are even allowed to wear them when they go into town (but still not when hanging out on main campus on Saturdays).
I have really enjoyed teaching (even though I always regret it when I get into the long weeks of grading but in the end I wouldn't change anything but the grading).
We are moving away from NBBC, although we do not yet know where we are going. please pray that the Lord will show us soon. I am trying not to be anxious.
-- Carrie, you can add me as a link.
