Happy 2nd Birthday

Thank you Aunt Phyllis, Uncle Doug, Cousins Aran and Robbie for the wonderful Cowgirl Outfit. I really love the boots. Now I can be just like Daddy (only in red).

This morning, for my birthday, Mommy took me out for coffee. Well, neither of us really had any coffee. I had a yummy strawberry drink which spilled all over my dress. Mommy gave me some chocolate covered coffee beans and a muffin (which I had to share with my sister).

We had lots of fun.

Mommy even took me out for a ride in my favorite vehicle. Afterwards she took me to the bookstore and bought me a pretty baloon with purple flowers.

What a fun morning.

Alicia,
Everyone loved the cowgirl outfit. And of course she had to make sure everyone saw her new boots :)

She'll be having her birthday party tomorrow, so we will be posting more pictures tomorrow night (or Saturday)

Tracy, I can't believe Kara is already 2!! I remember visiting you in the hospital when she was born. Boy, you looked so good..wish, I could say I did or felt half as good during my hospital stay. :) I was just thinking when I was reading Carissa's blog about how you and J.A. were praying that Kara would be twins!

Awwww, she's so adorable!!! I want a little girl! :) I love the cowgirl outfit; that is too cute.

Happy Birthday, Kara!!

BTW Tracy . . . I remember that you used to call me "Mom" when you were my freshman roommate! So does that make me Kara's "grandma?!!!"--hope not! :)

Tracy, The cowgirl outfit is adorable. What a cutie you have. Did she have trouble going to bed that night after the chocolate covered coffee beans? :)

Don't worry "Mom", we won't be calling you grandma yet. I can't believe how much I have forgotten since my freshman year. We did have a lot of fun that year. I think that's also the year I have the most pictures from. Once we move and I get unpacked, I'll have to pull up some of those photos to throw on the web! I remember some great ones of you.

:) Good, I'm not ready to be a grandma . . .

I had actually forgotten that you called me "mom" until I was talking to my own mom, mentioning how I'd gotten back in touch with you via blogging, and she said, "Is she the one who used to call you mom?" So then I remembered. I bet you have some fun pics from that year! I'm sure I have some too, stashed away somewhere . . .
